About Life & Money

Life and Money is a new weekly radio program developed by Veritas Financial Ministries and hosted by Phil Lenahan. The program deals with real life experiences and provides clarity on some of the greatest issues facing people today.

Life and Money offers a Catholic perspective on how to make the most of God’s generous gifts. In addition to teaching the nuts and bolts of financial management, the show emphasizes that the first and most important step on the journey is to follow God’s way to financial freedom.

Life and Money will help listeners discover how their Catholic faith can be the foundation of a sound financial future. The program addresses the day-to-day needs of listeners, including such topics as:

  • Budgeting
  • Planning for retirement
  • Saving for college
  • Understanding and managing debt
  • Marriage and money
  • Children and money
  • Creating wealth with a purpose

Life and money is a program based on sound principles rooted in Scripture that will guide listeners on how to properly manage the money and talents God has blessed them with – and lead them to more fulfilling and peaceful lives.

Life and Money is a 30 minute program with two segments. Segment one features Phil and his co-host, Wendy Templeton discussing a broad range of financial and life topics pertinent to today’s Catholic. In segment two, Phil responds to calls and emails from listeners.

Life and Money helps listeners understand:

  • How a solid spiritual plan leads to a solid financial plan.
  • How growing in generosity changes their life – financially and otherwise – for the better.
  • Their responsibility to create wealth – and what wealth really means.
  • The difference between productive and unproductive debt – and what to do about it.
  • How to communicate more effectively with their spouse on money matters.
  • What it means to have true financial freedom, balance, and peace in their lives.
